Belqees School for the Deaf in Taiz Project
The preparation and implementation efforts are still ongoing for the construction project of Belqees School for the Deaf in Taiz, Yemen. TKF has completed the following steps:
1. Site handover procedures by the local authority and site delivery to the contractor.
2. Rock excavation for foundations.
3. Pouring concrete under foundations and footings.
4. Pouring reinforced concrete for foundations.
5. Pouring reinforced concrete for neck columns, lintels, and columns.
6. Foundations for the first-floor beams.
7. Stone chair constructions.
8. Block constructions for the first floor.
9. Reinforced concrete for sills and stairs on the first floor.
10. Carpentry and ironwork for the roof of the first floor.
11. Reinforced concrete casting for the first floor.
Social Media influencers program (Influence)
The TFK started to receive more than 150 candidates to participate in the social media influencers program for the youth, which aims to strengthen the role of young people in Yemen in combating hate speech and violence and in promoting social cohesion through social media.
