In 2029, the Rigoberta Menchu Tum Foundation assumes three cycles, which consolidates national and international recognition with spiritual strength and institutional responsibility, represents the main reference that bases from different educational levels and extraordinary research processes, a culture of peace that gives content to a new human, philosophical, ethical, social and political vision to open a renewed synthesis of knowledge, academia, the use of technology and science, oriented towards the search for true evolution, happiness, social progress and Peace. of humanity.

Advocacy and lobbying to raise awareness of indigenous issues and promote policies that respect indigenous cultures and traditions

Education and cultural preservation, including scholarships and support for indigenous students and language/culture promotion

Promotion and protection of the human rights of indigenous peoples, including their right to self-determination, land, and natural resources

Promotion of gender equality and women's rights in indigenous communities

Utzil Paz Peace Program :
Utzil Paz Peace, is a strategic program financed by United Peace International Internacional, for the strengthening of Education and Culture of Peace, for the construction of a multicultural society within the framework of the development of human rights and especially for the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, which constitutes the strategic framework for collaboration with all participating sectors, on a multidisciplinary and inter-institutional basis.
UTZIL is a concept from the K'iche' Mayan language. Which can be used in different social contexts such as Utzil – utzilal, which can indicate Utzil=good, Utzilal=good-tranquility-kindness.
Impact of Utzil Paz Peace:
The materialization of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples from an Education for a Culture of Peace develops a quality education and learning of children and young people for the appropriation of relevant knowledge/skills, while improving living conditions.
