Book: "Women’s Rights"
The book is written by Dr. Ebadi and then translated.
It explains in simple terms the rights women have within
the family under the laws of the Islamic Republic. The laws
of the Islamic Republic, especially those concerning the
'family,' are discriminatory and have been protested by
many women, but it is very important for all women to
learn this. This is because, first of all, some women do not
even know the few rights that the law grants them, and this
motivates them to demand the few rights they do have.
Second, because knowledge of the discriminatory provisions
of the law will encourage more women to join the 'equality'
movement and demand the elimination of legal discrimination,
thus helping Iran's democratic progress.
